SNAP is the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program promoted by the Federal government and the State of Minnesota to encourage all people to be able take advantage of good foods that are available. People use their EBT (Electronic Benefits Transfer) card like a credit card to access their SNAP account and pay retailers who accept SNAP. The Farmers’ Market has the capability thanks to our USDA grant to accept EBTs.
